Show #19 6/15/2021Tonight's Guest Is,Esther Laiacona is the CEO of Dream Believe Become and DBB Global. She is a social justice advocate for those who are facing economic hardship, such as food insecurity and homelessness, victims of sexual assault and childhood abuse and neglect. She supports others in being the best version of who they are in the present..Esther has her own personal journey of healing her own experience of childhood neglect and abuse , sexual assault and the hardships resulting from extreme economic hardship, survival and ultimately creating her dream life, free of toxic connections, energies and abuse. She is a mother of three amazing children and lives on the beautiful, iconic island of Martha’s Vineyard, MA.At age 18 was held against my will in a mans car and raped repeatedly , impregnated by the rape, 4 1/2 years later the man sued me for custody of a child he never knew the man who raped me , i went through a horrific 5 1/2 years custody battle having to normalize a violent rape in probate court . I can talk about that and how I won the case and ultimately ended it. I was taken to court hundreds of times over five and 1/2 years and I was re-traumatized again and again by the experience of having to face the man who raped me. I did not report the rape because I was traumatized severely by the experience. The courts normalized what was a life changing event and awarded visitation to a man whom the court's own appointed psychiatrist evaluated said he was a Sociopath and should not be alone with children. It was quite an ordeal. I fired the attorneys, left my job and focused on squashing the case once and for all to set myself free. It cost me everything. He drained my finances, my health, and my life for years. He ended up abusing my child severely and hardly paid child support. He got away with so many things and no one would help me or help me protect my child.elaiacona@gmail.com"We can take the horrible things that happen to us and give up! 5/25/2021 Show #16Tonight's Guest Is Carissa Daniels,She is a survivor of child abuse raised in a home with domestic violence, her escapes were reading and music. At the age of eleven she began a solo career as a singer, guitar player and songwriter. She is also a classically trained lyric soprano and has acted in music theatre as well. It was after a music rehearsal that she was stalked and then overpowered by a criminal who held her prisoner for hours, raping and assaulting her. Eventually he left, and she survived the attack, unlike 3 of his other victims, who he brutally murdered in cold blood. Eventually he was executed for his crimes.Prior to the assault, she was on the verge of creating a successful career in Contemporary Christian music. A few months later, she was left disabled after a nearly-fatal car crash. Eventually she started over and thought she would build a life, even if it wasn’t the one she’d dreamed of. She graduated from broadcast school and began working in radio. She met someone, but the man of her dreams was actually the creator of nightmares as she became the victim of domestic violence. When her miracle daughter was 3, they went underground after he threatened her life, and eventually moved to a place where they knew no one. Wanting to help others, she was certified as a victim advocate, but because of disabilities, was unable to work in a shelter. B/C her ex would periodically go looking for them and harass them, she got online seeking support, and began volunteering to help other victims to get and stay safe, start over and build successful new lives.http://shriverreport.org/people/carissa-daniels/In Our Journey To Heal, Many Times Helping Others We save Ourselves In The Process!!https://soundcloud.com/bailey-smith-369208333/after-facing-many-years-of-hell-she-came-out-on-top?si=98861ef7942f47f9b62dbfa264e19643&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharinghttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/friendstalk/2021/05/25/after-facing-many-years-of-hell-she-came-out-on-tophttp://tobtr.com/11948941

Show #17 6/1/2021Tonight's Guest Is James Russell,"James is a Canadian based writer with twenty-seven screenplays and a producer of five short films and a feature film in post-production. An award-winning photographer for ten years, James began producing his own screenplays in the late 90s. His company has four features in various stages of development - including CUSTODY DENIED, an Erin Brockovich-style thriller."... The Why? - I began looking for a family court project to produce about 5 years ago after my ex. cut me off from my two lovely grandchildren. I connected with Maryann when I saw a post about her recently published book. Both Maryann Petri and her story inspired me so much that I asked her if my company could option her story and her book. She graciously agreed. I spend 3 months writing the script, which was inspired by Maryann's story but is more generic - focusing on family court corruption, CPS, crooked lawyers and judges, parental alienation, incompetent social workers and court- appointed psychologists. We hope to attract an A-list actress to the project (Lisa Edelstein, or Amy Adams, or Bryce Dallas Howard) then raise the $1.9m we need to begin shooting.https://www.facebook.com/custodydeniedmovie company's website... manks-studios.com...Inspired By The Book Written: Maryann Petri https://dismantlingfamilycourtcorruption.com/"The world needs to see the suffering and pain so many are going through, not because it's about the children. Show #40 12/14/2021Tonight's Guest Is Rachel Meyrick,She is a UK based film editor and director. She began editing commercials in London in the early 90’s. After leaving commercials she began as a freelancer working on documentaries and short films. She cut her first feature film in 2000. Since then she has worked with many directors and created many short films herself. In recent times Rachel worked with director Jason Barker on his debut documentary feature A Deal with the Universe, about his journey to become pregnant. Most recently she is completing a documentary feature film: Sweepstakes Hero with director Clair Titley looking at a 1998 Japanese TV show that challenges a man to live on competition prizes alone in 1998 for worldwide release in 2022.What doesn’t kill me is her first feature as director and is about domestic violence and child custody in the US. It began in 2011 as a short about Charlotta, an amazing DV survivor in Oklahoma but the story soon spiraled when Rachel found out that mothers fleeing domestic violence were losing their children to abusive fathers who sought custody. What followed was 6 years of journeys to and from to the US to find other mothers and experts who had experience of this aspect of family court. The film did not attract any funding so Rachel relied on completing all the roles herself and two small crowdfunding campaigns to pay for the practical costs of filming. Rachel is a single parent and still lives in the UK.You can watch it here if you have a library card or are a student: https://www.kanopy.com/product/what-doesn-t-kill-mehttps://soundcloud.com/bailey-smith-369208333/what-doesnt-kill-me?si=a689131740644279aee1aa6108dc1edf&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharinghttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/friendstalk/2021/12/15/what-doesnt-kill-me-1http://tobtr.com/12039060
